About me

I am Nadja and I live in Germany. I am a riding club drop out. Starting to take riding lessons at the age of 12, it somehow didn't work out for me. I couldn't bring the horses to do what I want, I came off quite often and I was a complete failure at competitions. It frustrated me deeply and I left the club but kept my love for horses and my dream of a trusting relationship between horse and human. That's when I learned about natural horsemanship - a completely different approach. I knew right away that this was exactly what I needed.

A way of life

I have studied it ever since - horsemanship is not just another method to train horses, it's a way of life. It teaches you humbleness, respect and communication. It helps you to overcome egoism and pride and it shapes your personality so you can become a better person - not just with horses. It is a long and winding road to travel but you have the best teachers to assist and guide you - the horse.

  2. Wonderfully said. I have had the same feeling about NH, now I have the same feeling about positive reinforcement (reward-based training). :)

    1. Thank you. I love it that we can choose our own way and what suits us and the horse the most. It's a privilege to have a choice :)
